If the cable is furnished and installed by the customer,<br />

particula r notice should be made of the maintenance provisions of<br />

Paragraph 916. The maximum length of customer owned<br />

residential underground secondary shall be in accordance with<br />

Illustration No. 31 in Section XII. For services or conductor sizes<br />

other than those listed in Illustration No. 31, contact the<br />

<strong>Company</strong> 's local Service Coordinator. Where service runs exceed<br />

the length s listed in Illustration No. 31 in Section XII, or become<br />

impractical,<br />

a primary<br />

underground feed to a padmount<br />

transformer will be required.<br />

There shall not be more than eight (8) conductors per spade<br />

for a three phase padmount. There shall not be more than<br />

six (6)<br />

conductors per spade for a single phase padmount. Cases<br />

involving more conductors than these limits<br />

must be referred to<br />

the company for special design and prior<br />

approval.<br />
