acceptable to mount the riser(s) on a common pole. Loop Feed<br />
Systems shall be from the same phase of the same circuit.<br />
If<br />
this is not possible, written approval from the <strong>Company</strong> shall be<br />
required for a Loop Feed System fed from different phases or<br />
circuits. A spare cable may be used in certain<br />
applications in<br />
polyphase construction, and requires the installation of an<br />
additional primary cable in a common conduit. The use of a spare<br />
cable verses a Loop Feed System will be at the <strong>Company</strong>’s<br />
discretion, and shall be determined<br />
prior to the design phase of the<br />
construction project.<br />
An Alternate Feed System involves<br />
two distinctly separate<br />
feeds, in separate conduit systems, and from separate circuits.<br />
This type of system is designed to be operated primarily from one<br />
of the sources, with the other source being for emergency or back-<br />
up purposes. Alternate Feed Systems shall require the written<br />
approval of the <strong>Company</strong>.<br />
905. RESIDENTIAL SECONDARY SERVICES<br />
Residential underground services to operate below 150<br />
volts to ground may be installed in customer owned conduit or<br />
direct buried in trench provided by the customer and meeting<br />
<strong>Company</strong> standards and specifications<br />
as outlined in Illustrations<br />

The required cable may be furnished and installed by the<br />
<strong>Company</strong> subject to the cost provisions of paragraph 903.<br />
