When the emergency or standby generator is<br />

arranged to serve only specific equipment by use of separate<br />

circuits that are not connected to the normal<br />

wiring system,<br />

a main transfer switch will not be required.<br />

In accordance with NEC Section 702.6 ( Exception),<br />

"Temporary connection<br />

of a portable generator without<br />

transfer equipment shall be permitted where conditions of<br />

maintenance and supervision ensure that only qualified<br />

persons service the installation and where the normal<br />

supply is physically isolated by a lockable disconnect<br />

means or by disconnection of the normal supply<br />

conductors."<br />

604. CHANGES IN THE SERVICE ENTRANCE<br />

Any expenses in connection with the relocation<br />

or change<br />

of <strong>Company</strong> facilities as a result of a customer change or<br />

relocation of the service entrance shall be borne by the customer.<br />
