214. CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY<br />

The customer shall be responsible for the safekeeping<br />

of<br />

the property of the <strong>Company</strong> on the customer's<br />

premises and, in<br />

the event of damage to it, shall pay to the <strong>Company</strong> any cost of<br />

inspection and repairs. The customer<br />

shall protect the equipment<br />

of the <strong>Company</strong> on the premises and shall not permit any person,<br />

except an authorized representative of the <strong>Company</strong>, to break any<br />

seals, do any work on or attach anything to any meter or other<br />

<strong>Company</strong> apparatus located on the customer's premises except<br />

with the written authorization of the <strong>Company</strong>. The customer<br />

should notify the <strong>Company</strong> for operation, maintenance, or<br />

relocation of <strong>Company</strong> owned equipment.<br />

The customer shall<br />

provide transportation of all <strong>Company</strong><br />

line material,<br />

tools, employees and equipment from the point of<br />

reasonable access to the location where service is to be performed<br />

whenever operation and maintenance is required on extensions<br />

located in remote areas where access by standard <strong>Company</strong><br />

transportation is not possible. In lieu thereof, the customer or<br />

customers served by the line shall pay the transportation costs<br />

incurred directly by the <strong>Company</strong>. See paragraph 219<br />

for details<br />

on customer constructed lines.<br />

215. ACCESS TO PREMISES<br />

The <strong>Company</strong> shall have the right of access, by the<br />

<strong>Company</strong>'s standard vehicles and equipment, to a customer's<br />

premises and to all property furnished by the <strong>Company</strong> installed<br />

therein at all reasonable times during which service is furnished to<br />

the customer, and on or after its termination, for the purpose of<br />

reading meters, or inspection and repair of devices used in<br />

connection with its service, or removing its property, or for any<br />

other proper purpose.<br />

The customer, at their expense, shall maintain suitable and<br />

safe access, by the <strong>Company</strong>'s standard vehicles and equipment, to
