HAI Lighting Control Systems
The HAI Lighting Control (HLC) product line is designed for 110VAC applications
and includes dimmers, switches, remote controls, and plug-in modules. HLC can
operate stand-alone or with an Omni or Lumina controller. You can enhance the
enjoyment and value of your home, add security for peace of mind, and contribute
to savings on your energy bill all at once with HLC.
HLC can automatically set lights to any percentage, saving you money every time
a light is turned on. In addition to controlling conventional bulbs, HAI now controls
new high efficiency incandescent as well as dimmable LED and CFL, for scene
setting, energy savings, and security.
No Need to Re-Wire
HAI sells thousands of HLC devices per month because they are reliable, full
featured and cost effective. HLC technology is ideal for custom homes and small
commercial because of its long range, ease of use, custom labeling and decorator
colors. HAI’s Gen III UPB adds several new features listed in the individual
product descriptions here. 35A00-1/-3 and 55A00-1/-2/-3 series dimmer switches
now include an automatic timeout (when enabled) and can be switched from
dimming to non-dimming and back in the field. HAI Gen III UPB also includes
improvements to the core UPB technology, including improved drive for CFL and
LED lamps and better tolerance for power frequency variations and interruptions
in the dimmers*. The best UPB yet–only from HAI.
Easy To Use–The Smart Switches!
HLC switches feature true rocker action. Press and hold to brighten or dim. Press up
to turn on. Press down to turn off. Homeowners can easily change scene settings at
any time without a service call.
Because HLC is a modular system, rooms and lights can be added anytime, updating
as your needs change. For retrofits or expansion, existing light switches can be
replaced with HLC smart switches and lamp control modules can be added for
accessory lighting.
Matches Your Style
Most switches accommodate standard Decora-style wallplates for unlimited
faceplate options. A full range of switch colors, including almond, black, brown,
grey, ivory, light almond, and white, are available.
LED indicator lights at the top of the switches can be programmed to glow blue,
red, magenta, or turned off entirely. Scene Switches and House Status Switches can
even feature custom laser engraved buttons.
*Gen III UPB is compatible with all previous generations of UPB.
