An Omni home control system takes the place of a standard security system. It
features built-in UL Listed, CP-01 compliant security and fire systems to detect
intrusion, smoke and fire, carbon monoxide, water and other hazards through wired

not found in a standard security system such as inside and outside lights turning on
in the event of a security alarm, or the air conditioner automatically turning off in the
event of a fire to prevent the spreading of smoke throughout the home.

2011 brought significant upgrades to the firmware of each Omni controller by adding
support for ZigBee units and thermostats, added support for CoolMaster, and added
Extended Setup storage settings for room grouping and configuration of IP devices
such as HAI Dock, HAI Music Gateway, and IP surveillance cameras. HAI controllers
