Fine. However, if you look at the list of wild sounds as you start editing a<br />

scene, you’ll better understand the problems encountered when the scene was<br />

shot.<br />

I keep the wild sound list taped next to the monitor so that I have no excuse<br />

but to check it before I begin each scene. There’s probably a reason the wild<br />

recordings were made, so being familiar with them may be useful. It could<br />

alter the way I look at the scene, although it may not make any difference in<br />

my scene-cutting battle plan.
