The schedule shown in the table is front loaded, with the overwhelming majority of my editing time devoted to getting started and completing the fi rst pass. Why? • Much of dialogue editing is about fi nding the truth amid so many shouting tracks. Allocating so much of your time to structure, organization, and correctness pays off in the end.
