CONCLUSIONS
Anaerobe-aerobe treatment is the most efficient alternative of wastewater treatment for
breweries, the effluents’ qualities which leave the water treatment station are greatly
improved.
Combined anaerobic/aerobic treatment of brewery effluent has important
advantages over complete aerobic treatment especially regardind: reduced sludge
production, significant low space requirements and a pozitive energy balance.
