Analysing the data presented in the diagram from figure 7, it can be noticed that the first
intervention – respectively P1 has intensity on volume of 34%, P2 an intensity of 25%,
P3 has an intensity of 17% and at the connecting cutting it will raise at 24% from the
forest stand. This dynamic of the intensity of interventions carried out at the
regeneration cuttings is explained by the fact that the fructification at oak species was
abundant and the regeneration is done in the best conditions.
DISCUSSION
Some economical imperatives have imposed the carrying out of interventions at
relatively short periods and with relatively increased intervention intensities. For
reaching a massif state in a relatively short period, it was carried out works for
completing the natural regeneration using rapidly growing species (red oak).
In the regeneration compositions there were promoted some species that regenerated
relatively easy from seeds – field maple, Banat field maple, etc., that favour the
reaching at a massif state in best conditions and ensure the stability of the ecosystems
where they are situated (Enescu V., et. al., 1997); The need of silvotechnical
interventions at the new forest stand is imperative because in some situations the
shrubby vegetation becomes overwhelming, being able to spoil the composition of the
new forest stand.
The need of helping works for a natural regeneration (favouring works of establishing
the natural regeneration) is evident, for a successful valuing of fructification at basic
species figure 8 a and b.
