RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS
1. Out of 192 water probes sampled from public and individual wells for lab analyses in
2006, 57 probes (29.68%) were inadequate as regards the nitrate content, and the rest
of 107 probes (55.72%) were inadequate as regards the nitrite content.
2. Out of the 17 cases, 9 cases (52.94%) involved female sucklings and 8 cases (47.05%)
involved malesucklings, fact that proves the disease doesn’t appear only at a certain
