The values of the probabilities were determined from tables using the values of the “t” distribution and the freedom degrees based on which the variance of the empiric series was calculated. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Studying the content of chlorophyllian pigment (chlorophyll a and b) and carotenoids on the primary leaves of the wheat plantlets obtained from each experimental variants, we observed that the influence of the exogenous SA solutions treatment was dependent on the concentration which was used and the type of pigment wich was analised. The results obtained were presented in table 1 and graphically represented in figure 1. The content of chlorophyll a (table 1, figure 1.) increased significantly (with 17% from control lot considered 100%) after treatment with 0.01 mM SA solution. A very significant increased of chlorophyll a contents was observed, with 40% from the control lot in the case of treatment with 0.1 mM SA solution, and with 23% from the control lot in the case of treatment with 1.0 mM SA solution. In the case of the chlorophyll b contents (table 1., figure 1.) it could be observed a significant increased, with 20.9% from control lot when using a 0.01 mM SA solution, a very significant increased, with 36% from the control lot, in the case of treatment with 0.1 mM SA solution and with 24.3% from the control lot in the case of treatment with 1.0 mM SA solution. Studying the carotenoids pigments content (table 1., figure 1.), the results show that the accumulation of these pigments in the leaves of wheat plantlets on the 14 th days of germination, increased significantly in comparison with the same parameter determined from the control lot, in the case of treatment with 0.01 mM SA solution (with 38.8% from the control lot), with 50% from the control lot when the treatment was made with 0.1 mM SA solution and with 38.3% from the control lot for treatment with 1.0 mM SA solution. 494
