Looking in the table, one can notice that the calculated F is bigger than the theoretical F
for the transgression probability of 5% and 1% only in the cases of provenance, explant
stage and the threefold interaction provenance x stage x culture medium, that means the
variants variability is due to real causes, true differences existing among the
experimental variants.
The results showed a significant action of the provenance and a highly significant
action of the stage of explant upon the embryogenesis. The threefold interaction of
above-mentioned factors was also significant.
The existence of the significant triple interaction shoved the utility to study the averages
of all combination of parameters (Săulescu et al.., 1967), presented in the following
three tables of test Duncan.
The data from the table 2 present the effects of provenance and stage of explant
upon the embryogenic ability in Q. robur.
Looking in the table 2, one can notice that the provenance Dumbrava Sibiului
presented a rate of embryo induction significantly inferior to the other two provenances
that are similar and that the provenance Tg. Mures was the best. As for the explant
types, the early developmental stages of the zygotic embryos 1 and 2 had a significant
positive effect upon the embryo induction efficiency, but the more advanced stages (3
and 4) had a negative effect, comparing to the average.
