The Tentant variety positively reacted to five treatments, and had a neutral reaction to the other applied treatments. The Robusta variety positively reacted to the treatment with nutritive clay, where recorded the attack degree was 0 (zero), to other two products, and a negative reaction to the other applied treatments. The Agatha variety positively reacted only to one product, negatively to one product, too, and neutral to the others. The Rivera variety positively reacted to one product, negatively to one product, and neutral for the rest of them. In the other varieties a negative reaction was recorded. DISCUSSIONS The well-known copper based classical products (copper oxychloride 4kg/ha, copper hydroxide 4kg/ha, copper sulfate in association with lime 1%) are efficient in potato blight control. The other tested products susceptible of favorable effects due to their pH, pellicle protection or other properties were not efficient, except the variant with whey 1/1. Within experimental conditions, the lowest potato blight attack was emphasized in Amelia and Robusta variety, and the lowest alternariosis attack in Sante, Robusta and Rozal varieties, which recommend them as suitable for organic agriculture. Among the tested varieties, five are suitable to be used in organic agriculture: Robusta, Rozal, Redsec, Amelia and Sante. High production and degree of blight and alteriosis resistance characterize these varieties during testing conditions. Further research is needed in order to identify other varieties suitable to be used within organic agriculture system. The use of unconventional products susceptible to have properties against potato pathogenic agents or capacity of their attack limitation represents an alternative which can be developed within the context of implementation and extension of the sustainable and organic agriculture system.
