chernozem represents the dominant soil, which exhibits the succession of the Am-Bty-
Cca horizons characteristic for the forest steppe areas, with marls rich in CaCO3. They
confer the soil two essential traits: heavy texture and high degree of basic saturation.
The determined agro-chemical indices are characterized by the neutral soil reaction,
with values between 6.9 - 7.1 (in water), 3.56 - 3.92% humus content in arable layer,
0.183 - 0.196% total nitrogen supplies, very high phosphorus content (15 ppm) and
mobile potassium (240 ppm).
The potato varieties used within this trial were planted at 70 cm distance between
rows using 4SaBP equipment. Two rows by variety were planted. The following
varieties were used: Tentant, Frumoasa, Robusta, Rozal, Redsec, Roclas, Dacia, Rodas,
Amelia, Agatha, Sante and Cristian.
In experimental filed, treatments with nine blight control organic products were
performed: nutritive clay 1%, whey 1/1, copper sulfate in association with lime 1%,
bentonite 0,5%, copper oxychloride 4kg/ha, degreased milk 1/1, copper hydroxide
4kg/ha, cosmetic clay 1% and potassium permanganate 0,3%.
The experimental data were statistically processed and interpreted using the dispersion
analyzes (ANOVA) and Duncan test.
RESULTS
The results concerning the blight attack degree (AD%) on leafs in studied varieties are
presented in figures 1 - 11. The observation was performed after two weeks from
treatment application.
Figure 1 represents the control diagram, and it is the reference point for the results
obtained after treatment with unconventional products used in fight against potato
blight. Within control variant, Robusta, Rozal, Dacia, Sante and Cristian varieties
recorded the lowest blight attack degree, while Roclas variety recorded the highest.

Positive results after treatment with nutritive clay were recorded in Tentant, Roclas and
Robusta varieties (figure 2). The attack degree recorded in Robusta variety was 0 (zero),
while Agatha and Rivera varieties had negative reaction.
