The increased phosphorus rates increased the phosphorus content in peas in
Mosonmagyaróvár, Keszthely, Putnok, and decreased only in Putnok (Figure 2).

As regards zinc content both the cropping sites and the effect of fertilization had
significant differences. The fertilization treatments decreased the zinc content. The
highest effect was found in Putnok, furthermore, the lowest decreasing effect of
fertilization on zinc was found in Mosonmagyaróvár (Figure 3).
We determined the tryptophan content of pea samples by hydrolysis, in alkaline
media for 20 hours at 110 ºC. We had to take into consideration the different crude
protein content of the samples during the destructuring in barium-hydroxide media, 8,40
g Ba(OH)2x8H2O and 10 ml water was added to 10 mg N content. The rate ranged
between 89-98%.
