We carried out the infection of the in vitro plantlets and determined values of DR in
average of three, independent experiments in the case of five clones (Figure 5).
Values of disease rate against Pectobacterium chrysanthemi:
• 34/85 clone (DR = 1,2) non sensitive,
• Rachel (DR = 2,3) middle sensitive,
• Réka (DR = 2,5) middle sensitive,
• 136/92 clone (DR = 3,2) very sensitive,
• Boró (DR = 3,3) very sensitive.

It could be concluded that the in vitro methods are suitable for testing sensitivity of the
clones and cultivars. In the future we have the intention to extend over these
