40 CONTRIBUTORS CLAIRE ADAMSICK, who contributed to the report on this year’s Berlin Seminar, is a 2003 Fulbright Young Journalist. In the U.S. she is affiliated with Public Radio International. Adamsick is currently in Bonn, where she is an intern at Deutsche Welle. THE FUNNEL • VOLUME 40 • NUMBER 2 • SUMMER 2004 * SARAH ALLEN, author of “Pickle in Paradise,” just finished her year as a Teaching Assistant an the Paul-Gerhardt Gymnasium in Lübben. * Alumnus DAVID BEFFERT, author of “Beyond the Transatlantic,” lives in Berlin and is currently an intern at Global Public Policy Institute. * Currently conducting a comparison of German and American environmental laws in Bonn, Germany, NICOLE HARKIN, author of “Sorting Trash to Save the World,” will return to law school at Pace University in the fall. * CHARLES HAWLEY, a 2003 Fulbright Young Journalist in Berlin, contributed to the article on this year’s Berlin Seminar. * JOHANNES KLOHA, author of “Si, se puede! – Yes we can!” graduated from the school of social work at the University of Bamberg in Germany. He is currently attending the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he is in the master’s program of community administration practice, a course of study that has led him to his work at Erie Neighborhood House. CONTRIBUTORS DR. WERNER LANDSCHÜTZ is an alumnus of the Class of 1953-54 and contributor to our publication, The First Class of Fulbrighters. He reports on their class reunion in the News & Events department. * OTTO POHL, 2003 Fulbright Young Journalist, contributed to the article on this year’s Berlin Seminar. Pohl, who was previously a free-lance reporter in New York, is currently stationed in Berlin. He recently published an article on German cinema in the International Herald Tribune. * Fulbright Young Journalist TANIA RALLI, contributor to the article on this year’s Berlin Seminar, is stationed in Berlin. In the United States she works for the Chicago Tribune newspaper. * ANETTE RIESS is a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in German at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. In Germany she studies English at Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen. * DEVORA ROGERS, author of “A Gravestone for My Great- Grandfather,” is a Fulbright intern in the English Features Department at Deutsche Welle until the end of December. * CHADWIN THOMAS, contributor to the article on this year’s Berlin Seminar, is a 2003 Fulbright Young Journalist. In the U.S. he is affiliated with KSTP television in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is currently in Berlin.
