the catering for all sports venues is centrally organised by us. Crowning end
of our planning is the farewell brunch in form of an open-air picnic at the
Olympic lake, unlike anything you have ever seen before.
The culture team has been working for months on the whole cultural
program – from the opening ceremony, the choir festival, the litery evening,
the classical concert, exhibitions and parties to the wide-ranging program of
excursions. Highlight is the steamboat trip on Lake Starnberg.
Not money, but rather sports, fun and coming together are the focus of the
EuroGames. However, these things don’t work without good planning and
controlling of the finances, and that is our job as finance team: budget
planning, control of in- and out-goings, right up until the completion of the tax
return. But there are also other things to do: organization of the EuroGames
office, management of our association’s members, and answering all legal
questions, which mainly consists of checking all the contracts we make. And,
last but not least, we make sure that everybody has enough insurance
protection.
