Submission <strong>of</strong> Abstracts<br />
General Information<br />
Healthcare pr<strong>of</strong>essionals from all over <strong>the</strong> world who are primarily<br />
active in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> sleep medicine are invited to attend <strong>the</strong> First<br />
Congress <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> World Association <strong>of</strong> <strong>Sleep</strong> Medicine.<br />
A special criterion for finally accepting abstracts will be <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
degree <strong>of</strong> innovation.<br />
Contributions on <strong>the</strong> main topics <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> two congresses are<br />
especially welcome:<br />
<strong>DGSM</strong>: Der Traum vom erholsamen Schlaf<br />
(The dream <strong>of</strong> restful sleep)<br />
WASM: Advancing <strong>Sleep</strong> Health Worldwide<br />
All abstracts must be submitted electronically by using <strong>the</strong><br />
“Abstract Submitter” available on <strong>the</strong> congress websites<br />
(www.wasm2005.org or www.dgsm2005.de). Abstracts submitted<br />
after <strong>the</strong> deadline <strong>of</strong> 31 March 2005 will not be accepted. The<br />
“Abstract Submitter” will be deactivated on 1 April 2005, 0.00<br />
hrs/CET. Airmailed, photocopied or faxed abstracts will not be<br />
accepted as such.<br />
Please read <strong>the</strong> instructions below carefully before submitting your<br />
abstract. Abstracts not fulfilling <strong>the</strong> given instructions will be<br />
returned to <strong>the</strong> authors for correction.<br />
Posters<br />
A scientific poster exhibition will take place during <strong>the</strong> entire<br />
congress. Posters will be displayed on designated spaces. The<br />
authors will obtain <strong>the</strong> appropriate information in conjunction with<br />
<strong>the</strong> confirmation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> acceptance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir poster.<br />

Oral Presentations<br />
Projection data <strong>of</strong> all oral presentations will be collected and<br />
administered by means <strong>of</strong> a central database compiled prior to, as<br />
well as throughout, <strong>the</strong> entire conference.<br />
All authors will obtain fur<strong>the</strong>r information in conjunction with <strong>the</strong><br />
confirmation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir contributions.<br />
