Service description: QADA provides advocacy (someone who st<strong>and</strong>s beside a<br />

support them <strong>to</strong> be heard by providing accurate information, support <strong>and</strong>/or<br />
presentation regarding access <strong>to</strong> <strong>and</strong> provision of services in residential care<br />
facilities (nursing homes/hostels) – aged care community packages including<br />
Community Aged Care Packages (CACPS), Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH)<br />
packages ; <strong>and</strong> Home And Community Care (HACC) services. QADA also has a<br />
legal advocacy service that assists adults whose decision making capacity is being<br />
questioned, with administration <strong>and</strong> guardianship matters including potentially or<br />
going through the Guardianship And Administration Tribunal (GAAT).<br />
