Service description: The Meals on Wheels service provides a nutritious meal
delivered by volunteers to the person's home. Meals are provided to help the
frail, younger disabled people and their carers to remain in their home within the
community. A small fee is charged for the meals as the service is assisted by
HACC funding.

Service description: Provides day respite so as to maintain the quality of life for
the frail, aged, younger people with a disability and their carers. This is achieved
through the provision of a quality centre based activity program six days per week
incorporating social support, socially isolated program and education. Assistance
can be sought or a referral given by anyone including individuals, relatives,
friends, GP’s etc.

maintenance, repairs, modifications and help with employing tradespeople. Free
home security assessment and information about security hardware. Subsidised
labour may be available for yard maintenance, repairs, minor home modifications,
security-related repairs, maintenance and installations. Service area: Bundaberg,
Burnett, Isis, Monto, Mt. Perry, Kolan and Eidsvold regions.
