Operating/meeting times: meetings are generally held at 2.00 pm on the third
Monday of each month from January to October however there are exceptions
when meetings are combined with another activity and persons wishing to attend
should phone to confirm the details. Any visiting ex servicewomen, Australian or
Allied, is welcome to attend our meetings. New members are also welcome at a
meeting, without obligation. We hold our annual lunch in November, our agm in
march and sometimes host a reunion in July.

Service description: we offer comradeship to women who have served in the
Australian Defence Force or the Forces of the Commonwealth or Allied countries.
We have meetings, outings, luncheons and host reunions. We also attend
reunions in other centres. We attend commemorative and remembrance activities
as a group. In 2003 our association proudly unveiled and dedicated a memorial to
all Australian Service Women; this memorial is located in Lions Remembrance
Park, Takalvan Street, Bundaberg.

Service description: Located in Bundaberg, Gracehaven Lutheran homes
retirement village is a picturesque village where you can enjoy comfortable and
relaxed living in a natural setting. The village has 13 independent living units
which are clustered together to promote a sense of community and security.
As a new resident, you will be warmly welcomed into the village where you can
enjoy a busy social life within the community or choose a more relaxed lifestyle.
The village is situated on the same site as a residential facility that includes a
hostel and nursing home. In July 2008, Churches of Christ Care (CARE)
commenced managing Gracehaven Lutheran homes.
