Operating/meeting times: Meets on the 4 th Tues of each month at 10am.
Service description: To promote the welfare and good of all people 50 years
and over in Bundaberg and district. To promote cooperation in the achievement of
the above and to that end bring together in committee, representatives of bodies
and organisations engaged in furthering the above purposes within Bundaberg
and district. Also to assist in promotion or carrying out surveys, studies and
research into the matters relating to the needs of older people and forwarding the
relevant facts to the proper bodies and organisations. A special purpose vehicle
for persons with disabilities.
“One Stop” information centre for older people: Information is available on the
following subjects: social clubs, physical activities, self-education, health-related
matters, accommodation, help agencies requiring volunteers. Located in the
senior Centre building – 45 Woondooma Street (next to the library) - every
Tuesday from 9.00am to 11am. Call in or phone (07) 4151 3175.

Operating/meeting times: The Club meets monthly on the third Thursday at
9.00am. Between meetings visits and outings are also arranged.

Service description: To provide regular meetings for retired and semi-retired
people who appreciate and value, in their retirement, opportunities to meet
others, enjoy hearing addresses by guest speakers on topical subjects and visiting
places and organisations of specific appeal to members. Membership is open to
people who have pursued any useful endeavour, resident in bundaberg and
district who are fully or partially retired. It is also open to other people of a
similar level of interest.
