The Berliner Unterwelten association, founded in<br />
1997, offers guided tours through Berlin’s subterranean<br />
buildings and bunkers. The gasometer bunker<br />
in the Fichtestrasse consists of two floors and<br />
over 240 rooms.<br />

The »Mutter-Kind-Bunker« in the former<br />
Fichtestraße Gasometer is an external site of the<br />
Berliner Unterwelten-Museums which can usually<br />
only be viewed as part of a guided tour.<br />

The Nikolaikirche, which dates from the 13th century,<br />
has recently un<strong>der</strong>gone extensive restoration<br />
and reopened in its full glory, with a new permanent<br />
exhibition.<br />
