The museum’s collection stores 30 million objects,<br />

from fossils and preserved animal specimens to<br />

minerals and over 4.5 billion-year-old meteorites.<br />

A particular highlight is the world’s largest dinosaur<br />

displayed in a museum. The recent reopening<br />

of the East Wing also made a large research collection<br />

of formaldehyde-preserved specimens accessible<br />

to the public.<br />
