to BeRlIn's 29 tH lonG nIGHt of tHe museums
Twice a year Berlin’s uniquely diverse musuem
landscape invites you to a night of exploration… Since
the Long Night of the Museums was first held in
1997 almost all of the city’s 200 museums and memorials
have taken part. Each time the cards are
reshuffled – new discoveries and a diverse programme
are guaranteed. This summer 105 museums
open their doors, amongst them the Museum
Berggruen, the newly opened Humboldt-Box and
the LOXX am Alex for the very first time. Tickets are
also valid for the shuttle bus service, which connects
the museums on short, convenient journeys.
comBI-tIcKet
Valid in all participating venues (from 6pm) and for
the use of shuttle busses as well as all public
transport (Berlin zones ABC) between 3pm and
5am. Price € 15, concessions €10, children up to
12 years have free entry. Concessions are available
upon receipt of identification for school or uni-
versity students, trainees, the unemployed and
recipients of Hartz IV, those performing German
military or civil service, pensioners and disabled
persons.
Concessionary combi-tickets are not available
from S-Bahn or BVG ticket machines or online.

All participating venues are listed with exhibition
and event details in alphabetical order. The numbers
at the top of the page refer to the shuttle bus routes
you can use to reach the venue. The connections to
public transport are listed in the addresses at the
end of the booklet – the page number given next to
the addresses allows easy navigation to the
museum’s page in the booklet.
Many of the lectures and guided tours are only suitable
for German-speakers and have been given the
specification ‘in German’ by the event title. Please
note that if exhibitions, shows, workshops, etc. do
not have this specification, it does not necessarily
mean they are suitable for non-German-speakers.
tHe lonG nIGHt on BIKe
For all visitors who wish to make their own way
around there is the possibility to rent bicycles. At
30 Dorotheenstraße (between the Museum Island
and Friedrichstraße station) buy or show your ticket
to receive bike rental for the Long Night and
the following day for only €5.
