The local gallery and art museum of Pankow
district presents temporary exhibitions and events
on contemporary art.

or easily content with a completed work. His
working process is typically lengthy, applying the
paint layer by layer, repeatedly pausing, removing
layers and sometimes only resuming work on the

The women’s choir Intermezzo vokale sings pieces
from George Bizet, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Luigi
Cherubini and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.

The Pankow Municipal Art Collection (Kommunale
Kunstsammlung Pankow) presents a selection of
works which have a musical theme and express
their own musical resonance. Works from the
Spinet and Drum (Spinett und Trommel) portfolio
by Dorit Bearach and Jürgen Köhler are also on
display.

GAleRIe son
The galerie son seeks to contribute to the intercultural
art dialogue, particularly between Europe
and Asia. Often working beyond the gallery space,
their unusual events and special venues bring art
to the public.

Johannes Heisig: »Malgründe«(Painting Foundations)
Part of the exhibition triptych Transitions (»Übergänge«)
based in the galerie son, the Willy-Brandt-
Haus and the SEZ Berlin.
In the galerie son the Berlin painter presents his
latest works, consisting mainly of portraits in
which he masterfully portrays his subjects in all
their fragility and individuality; his city landscapes
and still life works are no less impressive.
