Experience history hands-on: the DDR Museum
offers an interactive exhibition of everyday life in
the former East Germany.
6.00 pm–2.00 am
Music
Lipsi, Grüne Wiese und DDR-Hits
Throughout the night DJ Albi will be playing the
famous hits and less-known gems of GDR music
history. The Domklause restaurant will be serving
classic GDR dishes and cocktails (like the Grüne
Wiese) as well as beer on tap to enjoy on the Spree
terrace.

Dance
The GDR Museum in a Lipsi Dance Fever
Frau Nimtsch from taktlos dance school adds an
unconventional, fun twist to teaching the GDR
dance Lipsi. Each session will end with a danceoff,
where participants can show what they’ve
learnt – the winning pair will receive a voucher for
a dance course at taktlos.

Germany’s main Holocaust memorial, a place of
commemoration for the six million victims, consists
of a Field of Stelae above ground and an Information
Centre underground.

Germany, with a particular focus on music.

A Polish-Jewish musian struggles for survival after
the occupation of Warsaw by German troops.

Guided Tour (in German)
The History and Design of the Memorial
The guided tour starts in the Field of Stelae and
walks through the exhibition in the Information
Centre.
