Karl Schmidt-Rottluff travelled across different<br />
coastal areas the whole of his creative period, but<br />
the Baltic in particular inspired the artist to an<br />
especially intensive artistic exploration of nature<br />
there and the creation of many vividly colourful<br />
works.<br />
