A wall of ice is a metaphor for life; it un<strong>der</strong>goes<br />
its own distinct natural transformation in time<br />
and space. The artist Dolanbay paints the ice wall<br />
whilst it melts, un<strong>der</strong>taking an uncertain journey.<br />
Something comes into being and ceases to be, figurative<br />
and abstract, conscious and unconscious.<br />
How long will the wall stand?<br />
A project by Dolanbay (Meinblau e.V.), produced<br />
and documented by (Internationales Forschungskolleg<br />
– Verflechtungen von Theaterkulturen, Freien<br />

The team from »special touch« will be treating Long<br />
Night visitors to Shiatsu massages. Head to the<br />
yellow tent in front of the Kulturforum to relax and<br />
refresh in the experienced hands of their three the-<br />

As in previous years radioeins will be broadcasting<br />
live from the Kulturforum from 6 to 11 pm. The distinctive<br />
black studio bus serves as a meeting<br />
point for many interview guests from the participating<br />
museums.<br />

From the 1st August Twitter users are invited to<br />
post their thoughts, photos and links on the 29th<br />
Long Night of the Museums on the Twitterwall at<br />
www.lange-nacht-<strong>der</strong>-museen.de/twitterwall.<br />
Throughout the Long Night tweets will be projected<br />
live onto a large screen at the Kulturforum. Which<br />
tour surprised you with unexpected discoveries?<br />
Which choir gave a spectacular performance?<br />
Where is the food particularly tasty? Experiences,<br />
impressions, snapshots and more can be shared<br />
directly with the other visitors at the Kulturforum.<br />
