SECTION A – GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS<br />
Please read the following notes carefully.<br />

ITE NITEC (NURSING) GRADUATES<br />
(3.0 < NET GPA < 3.5)<br />
ITE HIGHER NITEC (EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION) GRADUATES<br />
(NET GPA > 3.0 and min C6 grade in GCE ‘O’ Level English )<br />
1. To apply through the Direct Admissions Exercise (<strong>DAE</strong>), use this <strong>for</strong>m if you qualify under one of the following categories:<br />
� Higher NITEC (Early Childhood Education) graduates meeting the following requirements and applying <strong>for</strong> Child<br />
Psychology & Early Education and / or Early Childhood Education diploma courses<br />
o Net GPA > 3.0, and<br />
o min C6 grade in GCE ‘O’ Level English<br />
� NITEC(Nursing) graduates meeting the following requirements and applying <strong>for</strong> Health Sciences (Nursing) diploma<br />
course<br />
o 3.0 < Net GPA < 3.5,<br />
o 1 year relevant work experience<br />
o Recommendation letter from a hospital<br />
2. Application period: 7 Feb – 11 Feb 2011. Late submissions will NOT be considered. Application <strong>for</strong>ms are only<br />
accepted DURING the application period.<br />
3. Selection is based on academic merit and the decision by the Board of Admissions is final.<br />
4. Supporting documents<br />
The application <strong>for</strong>m should be submitted with copies of the relevant documents in the following order:<br />
(a) GCE ‘O’ Level / SPM / GCE ‘N’ Level Results or the equivalent<br />
(b) ITE Examination Results (For final year student, please submit the last 3 semesters’ results)<br />
(c) Proof of CCA Grade (if any)<br />
(d) Recommendation letter from a hospital (applicable to NITEC holders only)<br />
(e) Documents of employment records (at least 1 year relevant working experience) (applicable to NITEC holders only)<br />

5. Applicants are not required to pay any application fee upfront. The application fee will be paid together with other school<br />
fees in the event that the student gains admission and accepts the offer.<br />

SECTION C – OTHER INFORMATION<br />
1. Fees (International Students)<br />
The total fees of a full-time student, without subsidy from the Singapore Government, are above $18,000 per year subject to<br />
revision each year. The Singapore Government provides tuition grant to assist students in paying their tuition fees. International<br />
students who accept the tuition grant need only to pay about 20% of the total fees but will be bonded to work in Singapore <strong>for</strong> 3<br />
years upon completion of their courses. Those who wish to pay the full fees can opt to reject the government tuition grant.<br />
2. Tuition Grant Ineligibility<br />
Applicants who have received tuition grants and completed their first year of study in a local university would not be entitled to full<br />
tuition grant.<br />
3. Place Reserved on NS Grounds<br />
Male applicants who are unable to commence their studies starting 18 Apr 2011 on grounds of National Service may request to<br />
have their place reserved upon the offer of admission. The reservation of a place is only applicable to those who have never been<br />
enrolled in a polytechnic be<strong>for</strong>e.<br />
