Dear customers! 

The fact that in nature there are herbs grown to help 

provide relief against most little aches and pains, 

this our ancestors already knew. 

For over 40 years STYX Natucosmetic has drawn 

from the rich experience of our ancestors. According 

to the traditional herbology, STYX uses this 

knowledge to produce high-quality, natural care 

products. 

By using the latest scientific findings and procedures 

in our new laboratory, we are able to optimize 

further, all the familiar effects and benefits of 

essential oils on our skin. 

We process not only fresh herbal extracts, and also 

cold pressed vegetable oils, which we have sourced 

for over 5 years from organic agriculture. 

Since the summer of 2007 we are controlled by the 

certification body „LACON“. Now that our bio oils 

are supplied in larger quantities we were able to 

conform to their standards. 

During the year of 2007, we have continued to raise 

our standards by the installation of new production 

machinery. 

This now provides better emulsifying, thus producing 

an even creamier consistency to our creams, 

to allow better absorption to the skin.

our raw materials 

The best from nature 

Company founder Wolfgang Stix takes great pride 

in the quality of the raw materials used - whether 

in the harvesting of rose petals in Bulgaria, or the 

harvesting of lavender fields of France. 

These valuable plant extracts are highly effective, 

100% concentrated and have traditionally been extracted 

by steam distillation. Their properties have 

to be precisely known, in order to guarantee good 

performance. 

The Rose, queen of flowers, provides for the product 

series „Rose Garden“ the most important essence: 

the pure rose oil. The sweet scent has an activating 

and harmonizing effect on our mood. Combined 

with moisture and a highly effective anti-aging active 

ingredient it pampers the skin. 

The facial care products made on the basis of Avocado 

oil (rich in vitamins and lecithin) and wheat 

germ oil (extracted from wheat germ fresh form the 

mill), vitamin A and F, and natural emulsifiers, beeswax, 

and shea butter. 

Depending on the different addition of finely tuned 

plant extracts and essential oils, a variety of individual 

modes of action were acheived. 

Verbena from controlled organic growth is the main 

ingredient of our new aromatherapy series. It has a 

balancing and refreshing effect. Lemon grass adds 

extra freshness and a pleasant tingling on the skin. 

A special algae active ingredient from the atlantic 

sea is a perfect repair complex, which is responsible 

in the verbena series for the regeneration of 

skin and hair. 

Goat butter, from old folk remedies, forms the basis 

of STYX „goat butter massage cream”. The effect of 

the raw material from the “Waldviertel” (a region in 

lower Austria) is rounded by adding various herbs 

such as marigold, sage, arnica, rosemary and many 

others. Also in this cream we use only natural emulsifiers. 

STYX hair shampoos and shower gels are also made 

from natural raw materials: especially prepared coconut 

oils, herbal extracts, sea salt and essential oils 

are our recipe for success here.
