UNIMASTER ® Universal
Measuring Instrument
The UNIMASTER Universal Measuring Instrument’s durable construction is
designed for the direct measurement of especially large internal and external
dimensions. It is an accurate, easy-to-handle instrument that can be positioned
horizontally or vertically while maintaining a constant measuring force. An
integrated dial indicator makes it easy to view the culmination point.
The UNIMASTER provides direct measurement of internal dimensions from
10" (250 mm) to 59" (1475 mm) and external dimensions from 9" (225 mm) to
58" (1450 mm).The instrument consists of a measuring head with fixed anvil
and measuring plunger, interchangeable measuring arms, a set of extensions
with integral precision gage rod, and positioning accessories.

The Tubular Inside Micrometer includes hardened and ground spherical measuring
ends for accurate gaging of parallel and curved surfaces. Fiber grips are provided on
all except 599-270-25-2 and 599-270-30-2 for protection against thermal effects. All
sizes, except the 2" to 2-1/2" range, provide a clamp screw for locking the thimble.

UNITEST ® Internal Micrometer
The UNITEST Internal Micrometer measures along the instrument axis with
2-point contact on the workpiece. It is a precise, easy-to-handle instrument that
can be positioned horizontally or vertically while maintaining a constant measuring
force. An integrated dial indicator makes it easy to view the culmination point.
The UNITEST provides direct measurement of internal and external dimensions
from 8" (200 mm) to 56" (1400 mm). The instrument consists of a measuring
head with fixed anvil and measuring plunger, a set of extensions with integral
gage rod, and positioning accessories.
For the direct measurement of internal and external dimensions from 8"
(200 mm) to 56" (1400 mm). Similar to the Unimaster, but lighter in con struc tion
with extensions only 1" (26 mm) in dia . Con sists of a mea sur ing head with fixed
anvil and mea sur ing plung er, a set of ex ten sions with integral gage rod, and
po si tion ing ac ces so ries.
Measuring head:
Micrometer system with a range of 1" (25 mm). Every .005" (0.1 mm) in di cat ed
digitally (system TESA-MASTER). .0005" (0.01 mm) in di cat ed by the barrel.
Dial in di ca tor in cor po rat ed, reading to .0005" (0.01 mm). Measuring head
cal i brat ed separately, by means of setting gage supplied with set.
Contact faces:
Tungsten carbide, spherical, both at plunger end and at fixed anvil. Adapter for
ex ter nal mea sure ments avail able on request.
Extensions:
Round section steel tube, housing a gage rod with one flat and one spherical
end, on centerline of extension. Ex ten sion diameter is 1" (26 mm).
Positioning:
Either by resting on the flat portions
of the head, or by use of the special
sup port ing device avail able on request.

TESA ® INOTEST ® Comparative Measuring
Instrument
Allows large internal and external dimensions to be measured by comparison.
Consists of a measuring element with interchangeable inserts as well as a set of extensions
