“Positive coaching with a passion for tennis”
We know that a good tennis game is a
friend for life. Being a tennis player will
make you a healthier, happier person.
And tennis is fun, even more as you improve!
Since 1975, our camps have helped hundreds
of thousands players fall in love with
tennis, discover their game and gain a load
of new tennis friends.
As the most distinguished tennis camps in the U.S., the
Nike Tennis Camps will help you acquire better skills and
Charlie Hoeveler, founder US Sports Camps, holds 40 USTA National titles.
best week of the summer. I am definitely
coming back next year.”
a renewed enthusiasm for the game. Whether you are a
young player or a “veteran,” Nike Tennis Camps offer you
an extraordinary opportunity to improve your skills and
elevate your game.
Our experienced coaches provide a perfect blend of serious
commitment to your tennis development with a very
positive teaching style. We’ll give you enough coaching
and instruction to last a lifetime. And we never forget that
you’re at camp to have fun!
Come to a Nike Tennis Camp this summer and get the best
A powerful learning experience in a safe, positive environment
Nationally Recognized Coaches
Our camp directors are the most respected coaches
in America. Their dedication to tennis and daily
hands-on participation ensure that all programs are
of the highest caliber. The directors take enormous
pride in the quality of the camps and personally
hire and train their camp staff.
Superior Instruction
We offer a personalized approach using a combination
of drills, games and match play in a spirited
team format. If a camper has been working with a
coach at home, we build on that foundation rather
than introduce major changes.
Specific Teaching Programs for Every Skill Level
Instruction is geared to beginners as well as ranked
players. Each camper is placed in a program appropriate
to his or her skills. In addition to the
essentials, we teach strategy, sportsmanship, mental
toughness, tournament play and goal setting.
Conveniently Located on Prestigious Campuses
Our campus venues provide a safe, secure environment,
and add an exciting cultural dimension to the
total camp experience.
Fun, Off-Court Activities
We offer movies, field games, talent shows,
barbeques, camp dances, trips to local beaches
and lakes or other nearby recreational
areas. There may be an extra charge for some
non-tennis activities. There will be an “activity
fee,” not to exceed $50 (which campers
will bring to camp), at certain camps which
include an off-campus activity. Every session
ends with an awards ceremony to which
friends and family are invited.
Because tennis is
Power

Nike Junior Tennis Camps
Nike Junior Tennis Camps are expressly designed so that young players can immerse
themselves in the sport. Our goal is to enhance their skills and enjoyment
of the game in an energetic and positive learning environment. Our coaches tailor
programs specific to each camper’s requirements with our low student/teacher ratio.
All Skill Levels: ages 8-17
Are geared to beginners, intermediate, advanced, tournament and
High School players and include concentrated work to develop the
proper fundamentals of tennis (ground strokes, serve, volley, return
of serve, overhead) and improve the camper’s competitive play
(singles and doubles).
Tournament Training Sessions: ages 9-17
Are geared to players competing at the (USTA) tournament level,
including extensive fundamental work, physical conditioning and
competitive play with the goal of improving each player’s tournament
results.
Improvement Programs
High School Sessions: ages 13-18
Are geared to players who are on, or expect to be on, their High
School tennis teams. Similar to the Tournament sessions (but with a
minimum age of 13) they are geared to turn each player into a better
competitor through fundamental development, physical conditioning
and match play so that they can make the team or move up the
High School ladder.
Quick Start Program: ages 5-7
A positive introduction to tennis fundamentals and low key match
play situations for younger campers. The programs will use short
court teaching. This is a new, fun teaching system developed by the
United States Tennis Association.
