THE GRAND AUCTIoN
Grand Auction Rules
Rule 1. If any dispute shall arise between two or more bidders the item in dispute shall, at
the discretion of the auctioneer, be put up again and resold or the auctioneer may decide the
dispute and his decision shall be final.
Rule 2. All items will be at the purchaser’s risk immediately after the fall of the hammer. No
exception shall be taken to any of items on delivery.
Rule 3. Payment by the successful bidder can be made after the closure of the bidding at
the Humpty Dumpty Cash Desk where payment can be made by cash, cheque, MasterCard,
AMEX, Diners or Visa. Payment in full on the night of the auction is expected, a deposit is
mandatory.
Rule 4. All sales are final and there will be no exchange or refund on items except where
specified.
Rule 5. Items cannot be passed on to any other third party for re-sale or raffle.
Rule 6. Unless otherwise specified, all Auction items and services must be used within one
year from 3 September, 2011.

Rule 7. Airfares included in travel packages purchased at the Humpty Ball are not redeemable
for cash nor are they eligible for upgrades. Frequent flyer points cannot be accrued on these
airfares.
Rule 8. Reservations for all trips, parties and/or similar events must be mutually arranged with
the donor unless otherwise specified. All arrangements for trips, parties and similar events
must be made in sufficient time for the necessary arrangements to be made. No refunds will
be allowed on travel packages for cancelled tickets and accommodation.
Rule 9. All Auction items must be collected before 12.30am on the evening of the dinner.
Where items cannot be collected on the night, they will be taken to the Humpty Dumpty
Foundation, Talus Street, St Leonards 2065. Items can be collected between 9.00am-5.00pm,
from 5 September 2011.
Rule 10. Any items not paid for and removed in accordance with these rules will be sold by
public auction or privately at the risk and expense of the former purchaser who shall be held
liable for any deficiency that may arise from resale with costs incurred.
Rule 12. Notwithstanding any of the Rules and Conditions, as listed on this page, the
operation of the Auction remains at the discretion of the Auctioneer and the Humpty Dumpty
Foundation Limited.

With appreciation to Georgina Hart
Acclaimed Sydney artist Georgina Hart has painted a special work for
Humpty which depicts her childhood memories growing up in South
Australia.
Georgina loved to catch butterflies with her butterfly net in the Barossa
Valley, on memorable weekends away with her family and she has depicted
this in her work Flutter Bye.
The bright colours featured truly capture Georgina’s happy childhood
memories. The size of this acrylic and oil canvas is 840mm x 840mm.
Georgina’s success in the art world is not limited to the Australian market
place. She has been invited by world renowned curator Paola Trevisan to
exhibit her work at the De Marchi Gallery in Bolongna, Italy in November.
Georgina’s works can be viewed at her gallery in Middle Cove where
she works in studio space behind the gallery. Georgina also welcomes
commissioned work.
