means: greedy for innovation. The new, if it is 

successful, is the old. And the even better solution, 

the different approach, the more refined tuning, or 

in short the bike of tomorrow becomes the object 

of desire. That's how we research, always chasing 

the next STEVENS. With unbridled passion, for the 

last 20 years. 

QUALITY UNDER CONTROL. Two properties of 

STEVENS bikes are famous: they are very, very 

lightweight. And they are extremely durable. Let us 

tell you a secret: This succeeds because we check, 

check and recheck everything we develop. Not only 

during the testing stage, when our engineers give it 

the final touches. But also after that, during serial 

production. The promises of the prototype must be

Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -sicherheit”. Dipl. 

Ing. (Certified Engineer) Dr. Dirk Zedler is a publicly 

commissioned expert under oath for bicycles 

(Chamber of Industry and Commerce Stuttgart) 

and has been a highly reputable consultant on bicycles 

for more than 20 years. Through his help, 

we know exactly what we use for our bicycles: 

frames, no matter if they're aluminium or carbon, 

saddle posts, running wheels... we had it tested, in 

the same combinations that we build. Because of 

this, too, our bikes can be so lightweight and at the 

same time so durable.

OLOGY 

HARMONY IN COMBINATION. Finally, the ideal partner for the 

high-torque Bosch drive has been found – because with the NuVinci 

Harmony the name really does describe its function. The rider simply 

has to choose what pedalling rhythm he wishes to add to his pedal 

power using the twist grip. The two electronic partners sort the rest 

out by themselves. 

FULLY UNDER CONTROL. The forged dropout also acts as a chain 

tensioner and a highly precise mount for the disc brake calliper. That 

makes sense because the combined motive power of rider and 

e-motor can hardly be curbed without well-dosed braking power. 

FULL SPEED AHEAD. Frames with low crossbar 

often have stability issues when driving. By contrast 

STEVENS riders can trust the mighty aluminium frame 

with tapered head tube crafted by our engineers 

100 %. 

INFINITE GEAR CHANGE. As an alternative to the 

fully automated transmission option, the NuVinci gear 

hub can also be adjusted to suit the riding situation 

by turning a grip. The display glows bright orange in

CERTIFIED SAFETY. With the electric drive, safety 

inspection institutes and standard audit committees 

have entered the bicycle world. And because our 

partners and we work closely with them, you can 

bank on 100 % STEVENS quality. 

CONSEQUENT CONSTRUCTION. When we write 

'MTB' on the seat stay, we mean just that. Then 

the rear chain stays of the Agnello provide sufficient 

tire clearance for studded tyres with strong traction.

increase or decrease the pedalling support with a button 

on the handlebar display – on the go. The display

IS SPECIAL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED? 

Maintenance is no more demanding than for any other 

bike. It makes sense to have your STEVENS dealer do 

an inspection once a year. Please mind the instructions 

for optimal charging and storing the battery. 

WHAT MUST BE OBSERVED IN WINTER? Protect 

the battery from frost, store it between 15° and 

20° C. If the battery is not in use, it will nonetheless 

discharge slowly. Recharge it every two to three 

months during longer pauses. This way, you avoid 

deep discharge.
