Precautions <strong>for</strong> the Unit<br />

SECURITY<br />

* Be<strong>for</strong>e operation, check if the voltage of the unit is compatible <strong>with</strong> the local voltage.<br />

* When disconnecting the apparatus from the mains outlet, use the plug. Do not pull the power cord.<br />

* When the plug of the unit is connected to the mains outlet, the unit will be still connected to DC even if the power is turned off.<br />

* Immediately disconnect the plug if liquids or objects enter the unit. The unit cannot be used until having been checked by an expert.<br />

* Do not open the cabinet. Laser rays employed by the unit may cause eye damage. Any servicing should be carried out by qualified service personnel.<br />

LOCATION<br />

* To prevent overheating, place the unit in a location <strong>with</strong> satisfactory ventilation.<br />

* Never place the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources.<br />

* To protect the pickup, do not place the unit in dust-filled locations. If there is dust on the pickup, use a cleaning disc to clean it. Refer to the<br />

separate operating instructions of your cleaning disc.<br />
