• 2 1: single-sided copies from double-sided documents. NOTE: The machine copies the second side of a document first. When making double-sided copies using drilled or preprinted paper, load the paper the opposite way round to the single sided copying instruction label on the tray. HINT: When using the 1 2 option and the document glass, the machine will display a message when it is ready to scan side 2. Orientation Select the Other option to access the Orientation features. DC440/432 select the Other option and then either 1 2, 2 1 and 2 2 to access the following orientation options available: Head to Head—the output will be the same orientation as the documents. Head to Toe—the output will be rotated 180o on the second side. Portrait—the image appears in the portrait orientation. Landscape—the image appears in the landscape orientation.
