Inserting the new Copy/Print Cartridge � Remove the new Copy/Print Cartridge from the box. Vigorously shake the cartridge from side to side before removing it from the bag. � Remove the paper strip protector. Refer to the instructions with the packaging for more information. � Holding the cartridge by its handle, slide it into the frame in the machine. Let go of the handle as you slide the Copy/ Print Cartridge all the way to the back of the frame. It must click into place. � Pull the coloured tab to remove the sealing tape from the cartridge. It is located on the front of the cartridge. CAUTION: To avoid spills, do not remove the sealing tape until the Copy/Print Cartridge is completely in place. � Close the Left Front Cover. NOTE: The Left Front Cover will not close if the cartridge is not completely in place. � Close the Upper Left Cover. IF FITTED � Close the Duplex Module. � Slide the Finisher and High Capacity Feeder back in to place. CAUTION: Occasionally, after the Copy/Print Cartridge is replaced, the first page printed is blank. This is because the roller has not yet turned over to distribute fresh dry ink.
