Services Department h<strong>as</strong> completed most of the <strong>as</strong>sistance offered to the group that will be meeting at the Hilton<br />

Clearwater Beach,<br />

April 20-28, 2006. Registered attendance h<strong>as</strong> incre<strong>as</strong>ed and the group will now be using<br />

overflow rooms at the Best Western Sea Wake and the Clearwater Gulfview hotels, generating up to 440 additional<br />

room nights. Services provide d information f or obtaining images fo r the conference program,<br />

conference<br />

promotion materials and will be providing on-site materials and volunteer <strong>as</strong>sistance for registration<br />

and information booth.<br />

National Workforce Assn<br />

This <strong>as</strong>sociation rebooked their annual meeting at the Renaissance Vinoy, De cember 1 – 3, 2006, and Services<br />

Department h<strong>as</strong> been working with the planner on a conference planning meeting in April. Services<br />

will be<br />

wo rking t hrough the year <strong>as</strong>sisting with attendance bui lding, transportation planning, overflow accommodations,<br />

and on-site <strong>as</strong>sistance.<br />

Pan Icarian Brotherhood of America<br />

Services Department is <strong>as</strong>sisting the local planning committee with an attendance building-registration mailing<br />

for the gr oup’s a nnual convention to be held at the Renaissance<br />

Vinoy, September 1 – 4, 2006. Hilton St.<br />

Petersbu<br />

rg Downtown is the overflow hot el and a third hotel may<br />

be added. Up to 1,500 attendees are expected to<br />

attend. Services will continue working with the local committee through the coming months<br />

with transportation<br />

planning, destination information for attendees , and on-site volunteer staff. Pan Icarian<br />

is a Hellenic<br />

(Greek) organization that “funds medical aid , scholarships, dis<strong>as</strong>ter relie f, and charitable<br />

causes in North<br />

America<br />
