the name and location of the
storage file that the gateway
uses when operating in
store-and-forward mode.
Gate.SNMP.Timeout integer -snmptimeout integer
The default is
$OMNIHOME/var/
NCO_GATE_snmp_.store.
Use this property to specify
the time (in seconds) that the
gateway waits for a
connection from an SNMP
receiver before timing out.
The default is 600.
Gate.SNMP.Trap integer -snmptrap integer
Note: This property is only
used when the
Gate.SNMP.Protocol property
is set to TCP.
Use this property to specify
the trap type value of the
generic trap field in
forwarded SNMP traps.
The default is 6.

Note: This property can also
be defined as @Severity to
forward the value of the
Severity column in the
alerts.status table.
Map definition file
The map definition file defines how the gateway maps data received from the
SNMP writer to the Status, Journal, and Details tables within the ObjectServer.
The default map definition file is $OMNIHOME/gates/snmp/snmp.map.
