Disperse both Sodium Laureth Sulfates and 

Glycerin into water. 

Add Mackanate EL, and begin to heat to 78- 

80°C. 

Add Mackamide CMA and Mackester EGMS . 

Continue heating at 78-80°C until all the 

CMA/EGMS is dissolved. Cool to 40°C. 

Add Mackam 2C and MackproPlus WHEAT-C. 

Add fragrance and adjust pH with citric acid. 

Thicken with the 25% salt solution. 

Add Phenagon PDI preservative. 

Properties: 

pH (as is) 5.0 - 6.0 

Viscosity (cps) 8,000 - 15,000 

Appearance Pearled, viscous liquid 

Heat water to 70°C. 

Add cetearyl alcohol and Mackernium SDC-85, mix 

until all dissolved. 

Slowly cool to room temperature. 

At 40°C, add MackproPlus SILK-C and Mackstat DM. 

Adjust pH with Lactic acid. 

Properties: 

pH (as is) 4.5 - 5.5 

Appearance White, opaque dispersion 

Disperse Mackam 35-UL in water. Heat batch 

to 70°C and add Mackamide CMA. Hold at 

70°C; mix until homogeneous. 

Slowly add sodium laureth sulfate and sodium 

lauryl sulfate; mix after each addition until 

homogeneous. 

Begin cooling to room temperature; add 

® 

Mackpro Plus RICE-C when cooled. 

Adjust pH with citric acid (50% solution). 

Add Paragon MEPB, fragrance, and dye; mix 

until homogeneous after each addition to 

desired color and fragrance level. 

Adjust viscosity up with sodium chloride. 

Properties: 

pH (as is) 5.0 - 6.0 

Viscosity (cps) 5,000 - 10,000 cps 

Appearance Clear, viscous liquid
