LDSHREAD ( 3X ) LDSHREAD ( 3X ) NAME ldshread, ldnshread - read an indexed/named section header of a common object file SYNOPSIS #include #include #include #include < ldrcn.h > int ldshread (ldptr, sectindx, secthead) LDFILE •ldptr; unsigned short sectindx; SCNHDR *secthead; int ldnshread (ldptr, sectname, secthead) LDFILE •ldptr; char sectname; SCNHDR *secthead; DESCRIPTION Ldshread reads the section header specified by sectindx of the common object file currently associated with ldptr into the area of memory beginning at seethe ad . Ldnshread reads the section header specified by sectname into the area of memory beginning at seethe ad . Ldshread and ldnshread return SUCCESS or F AlLURE. Ldshread will fail if sectindx is greater than the number of sections in the object file; ldnshread will fail if there is no section name corresponding with sectname . Either function will fail if it cannot read the specified section header. Note that the first section header has an index of one.
