NAME
hfc _ ctl - configure hardware flow control
SYNOPSIS
/etc/hfc ctl +port
/etc/hfc - ctl -port
DESCRIPTION
hfc ctl sets the hardware flow control (HFC) on or off for a specified
serial port
The options are:
+port tum HFC on for port
-port tum HFC off for port
where port is the full pathname of a serial device file, i.e., /dev/ttyOOx.
EXAMPLES
To turn HFC on for the built-in serial port
/etc/hfc _ ctl +/dev/ttyOOO
To turn HFC off for the expansion serial port 1
/etc/hfc _ ctl -/dev/ttyOOl
You can also create a daemons file in the /etc/daemons directory that
configures HFC each time the system boots. For example, to automatically
set HFC on at boot-time for /dev/ttyOOO, put the line
/etc/hfc _ ctl +ldev/ttyOOO
in a file, say, /etc/daemons/ttyOOO.init, with execution permission.
