SOS PISTE RESCUE SERVICE - Alpine emergency phone: 140
There is always a reason for closure of trails after operating hours in
accordance with Municipal Council resolution. The local Rescue Service
is served by 30 well trained full-time members. Please note that a fee
has to be charged for rescue service provided in case of an accident.
PIsTe GrOOMInG: Night after night 40 piste machines and an experienced
team set to work to look after the pistes and ensure there is snow cover.
In the event of extreme rain/snow, in spite of preparation, it is not always
possible to create ideal piste conditions since in certain weather conditions
the new snow does not bond with the snow layer underneath. Our team
do however endeavour to create the best possible conditions for you.

Use of all buses with the sign “SKIBUS” is free for Bergbahn Kitzbühel guests
who have valid ski passes and Alpine ski equipment. Current schedules are
posted at all stops and are available at all ticket outlets, or see the internet for
update schedule. Limited ski bus service during pre-season and from mid-March.

With over 100 LCD monitors we provide our skiing guests with
information and accompany them through an enjoyable day of
skiing. At 32 locations the latest weather details (air temperature,
wind speed, last snowfall, snow levels ...) along with up-to-theminute
information with regard to the current avalanche situation
in the unrestricted and unsecured ski area are provided.
The current piste and lift status along with any short-notice
waiting times are also communicated in real time. Which means
that you always have an overview of all the relevant information.

holders, during their period of validity, to buy reduced Ski
Passes (approx. 50 % off the relevant regular rate) valid up to

Adelboden-Lenk and the Jungfrau ski region Interlaken. The
sales slip and/or valid Ski Pass of the “native resort” as well as
photo ID will have to be carried along in the partner ski area.

are providing a direct train connection from the greater Rosenheim
area to Kitzbühel. On weekends from 29.12.2012 to 18.03.2013 the
Streifzug will take all KitzSki fans from Bavaria on time and stressfree
to the valley station for the Hahnenkammbahn (arrive at the
Hahnenkamm at 8.15 a.m.). The train and cable car ticket is available

The fastest route to the piste! Make use of our online shop
and order your ticket quickly and easily at home. 1–7 day
ski passes along with season tickets are available to order
conveniently at www.bergbahn-kitzbuehel.at (does not
include discounted ski passes and special offers).
PaYMenT OF sKI Passes:
Cash, bank card, credit cards (Amex, Diners, Euro- and
Mastercard, Visa, JCB)
nOn-COnTaCT DaTa CarrIers:
KeyCard deposit fee € 2.00. Undamaged KeyCards in good
working order and issued in the current winter season may
be returned to the ticket outlet. Please note that we cannot
accept to take back older KeyCard types due to different
technologies used.

from 15 persons – approx. 5 % reduction available on ski

gENERAL TERMS
Ski passes are non-transferable and must be presented to controllers within
the control zone. Lost ski passes will not be refunded. Ski passes may not be
exchanged after purchase, nor may their period of validity be extended or
changed. Bad weather, avalanche hazard, unforeseen departure, interruption
in lift service, closure of one or all lifts due to unfavourable weather conditions,
closure of trails, overcrowding of ski pistes etc. shall not entitle ski pass holders
to a refund. Should you forget your ski passes/season tickets, an appropriate
day ticket, for which no refund is available, is to be purchased.
Please allow for reduced availability of the lifts and pistes during the pre and
off-season periods.
By purchasing a ticket/pass, passengers accept our TERMS OF TRANSPORT
which are posted at the various stations.
reimbursement
No legal claim will be admissible for reimbursement in case of accidents or
illness; reimbursements, if any, will be made out of fairness. The decisive
factor will be that you return the casualty’s or sick person’s Ski Pass without
delay to one of our ticket offices and present a medical certificate issued by
a local physician or hospital. One-day tickets will not be reimbursed without
exception. Reimbursement modalities shall apply as laid down by us. We
reserve the right to refuse refunds without providing any reasons.
Misuse of lift tickets/ski passes
Persons found without a valid Ski Pass will have to expect to pay a higher
price. Any misuse of lift tickets or passes will result in forfeiture of the
ticket/pass without compensation and will moreover be fined.

The operator of the ski pistes is not liable for damages or injuries incurred
by skiers/riders through the incorrect behaviour of other persons.
Particularly careless and dangerous skiing/riding and failure to respect
barriers or other instructions may result in a refusal to transport the
skier/rider in question. Your safety is our prime concern; please observe
the FIS Rules.
Car parks
Use of our car parks is free of charge except for parking at the car park at the
valley station of the Hahnenkamm cable car.
Parking at the indoor car park at the valley station of the Fleckalm cable car is
also free of charge between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Bus parking space available at all feeder cable cars (except of Hahnenkamm,
Maierl and Pengelstein I cable cars).
Our cash-desk staff and the Information team are always there to provide
information. Take advantage of the chance to purchase your ski passes in the
evening at the following cash points:
Hahnenkamm cable car, Kitzbühel: Friday until 8 p.m.
Aquarena Spa Centre, Kitzbühel: daily until 8 p.m.
Gaisberg chairlift, Kirchberg: Tuesday to Saturday from
