Freshman Connection These events should occur through the year as some type <strong>of</strong> Freshman Connection Program: Coordinate a group trip to Richland Parish's Pickin & Ginnin Festival Coordinate a group to attend Monroe's Folklife Festival. Organizing freshmen students to attend ballgames as a group. Encourage students who live in other areas to become "hometown recruiters" to recruit prospective students while they are home for holidays and various other reasons. Coordinate a service-learning project with our local schools as part <strong>of</strong> the Adopt-A-School program. Attend the Christmas Lighting Ceremony together. Develop a program for the Spring Semester similar to the fall. 198
