Chapter-9<br />

i) Identification of schemes under SAP.<br />

ii) Based upon the mapping exercise carried out by various provinces/federal agencies, a list of all eligible<br />

sites will be prepared by the provinces/agencies which will be submitted to the District Social Action<br />

Boards to facilitate selection of sites according to approved criteria.<br />

iii) The provincial governments and DSABs will each identify and select 40% sites in each District and<br />

remaining 20% by the MNAs of eligible sites in accordance with the approved selection criteria.<br />

iv) The DSABs would strictly adhere to agreed site selection criteria and action plan.<br />

v) The DSABs will convey the selected sites to the Deputy <strong>Commission</strong>ers who will <strong>for</strong>ward the same to<br />

the concerned Line Departments <strong>for</strong> taking necessary action.<br />

vi) A copy of the development schemes identified/ sites selected by the District Social Action Boards will<br />

be sent to the concerned Line Departments and the Provincial SAP Coor-dinators.<br />

vii) Carry out review and monitoring of all schemes under Social Action Programme in their respe-ctive<br />

districts. The chairman and members of the DSABs and Project Directors shall, from time to time,<br />

undertake site visits of SAP <strong>Projects</strong> to ensure that the work is proceeding as per approved plan and that the<br />

funds are being properly utilized.<br />

viii) Provincial governments will issue instructions to the line departments and Deputy <strong>Commission</strong>ers to<br />

ensure full cooperation with DSABs.<br />

ix) Deputy <strong>Commission</strong>er will act as an ex-offico member of DSAB. He will attend the meeting of<br />

DSAB at least once in a month.<br />
