Growing.up.I.was.always.fascinated.
with.motorcycles...A.neighbor.owned.
a.Honda.Dream...I.wanted.a.Dream.
after.seeing.his.bike...As.years.went.by,.I.
never.found.the.time.to.find.one.to.restore...
Being.involved.in.motocross,.bike.building.
and.hot.rods,.I.finally.decided.to.make.time.
to.find.a.Honda.Dream.to.restore.
. After.a.couple.of.months.of.searching.
I.found.the.bike.on.EBay...It.was.in.pretty.
bad.shape.but.had.all.of.its.original.parts...
After.arranging.for.delivery.of.the.bike,.my.
phone.rang.and.the.Dream.arrived.in.a.
delivery.van...My.mechanic.Eddie.looked.
at.the.bike.and.said.“what.have.you.bought.
now?”.After.changing.the.battery.and.
cleaning.out.the.fuel.tank.the.bike.started...
We.were.amazed!
. We.completely.restored.the.bike.while.
putting.the.Underground.Customs.touches.
that.it.deserved...This.included.blackout.
rims,.a.solo.seat,.15.inch.ape.hangers.and.
many.hours.of.polishing.and.wet.sanding..
Thanks.to.Jason.at.Auto.Cycle.Powder.
Coating.and.many.long.days,.the.bike.was.
complete...I.look.forward.to.cruising.the.
bike.this.summer.at.local.events...
I.feel.confident.the.founder.of.Honda,.
Soichiro.Honda,.would.appreciate.his.
hard.work.being.restored.to.its.original.
glory.while.also.maintaining.a.piece.of.
motorcycle.history.
