Wurstsalon —— Party event organizer, taking
it to the road. The series of events
has no fixed location and announces its
parties only very shortly in advance.
Usually, the Wurstsalon does parties
that can be considered as much trashy
as glamorous. Consult the website for
details if you want to be surprised by
nearly everything a night can offer.

�� Flex —— Probably the most prominent
club in town when it comes to alternative
music. Flex stands out because
of it’s excellent sound system; its
acoustics are praised as one of the best
in any club in Europe. Flex has two
floors: The Flex Café, a lounge with no
admission fee, and the discotheque.
The club is pretty fucked up but there’s
always a crazy party, the prices are cheap
and the general audience is presumably
between 18 and 35, except for concerts
that reach a broader audience. Flex features
special DJs from all around the
world and it’s open every day of the
week.

�� Fluc —— A cultural aggregate and
one of the hottest clubs for contemporary
pop and electronic avant-garde in
front of the Viennese landmark the
Riesenrad near the Prater. Fluc consists
of two spaces: fluc is a space used for DJ
gigs, smaller concerts and art performances,
while fluc _Wanne, located in a
former pedestrian underpass, hosts
larger concerts and events.
